Mothers, especially those that are making it through the pandemic with any sanity, are queens and Nashville singer/songwriter, Mary Jennings, is no exception. In her latest single, “Matriarch,” she pays tribute to the enormous strength that is passed through generations between mothers and daughters. It is not by accident that she releases this anthem 20 years after the passing of her own mother and “Matriarch.” Although never getting to meet each other, Jennings finds beauty in that her mother’s life and legacy continues through her daughter.
